We drove past a sign saying "Soul Food", so my wife and I instantly remembered having read about this place years ago. It's not a very fancy place but it sure is serious about its fried chicken. Great big pieces of chicken, fried to perfection! Their chicken was very meaty, crispy, and tasteful. The seasoning was just right, so right that you won't have to dip the chicken in any sauce. They have a variety of different sauces at each table so you can have fun experimenting with the different flavors. We really liked the Honey Wasabi, it's more sweet than spicy. The Venetian Las Vegas 3355 Las Vegas Blvd Las Vegas, NV 89109 Last but certainly not least is the Yard Bird! We absolutely love this place because the overall experience is great. They serve up some really mean fried chicken but the also serve up some really mean food period@ We ordered the chicken and waffles (pictured). As former southern Californians, we were definitely used to gauging the amazingness of these types of dishes with Roscoes chicken & waffles. It's safe to say that this place definitely meets and beats that comparison because of its authentic southern flair! The seasoning and crispy skin was just amazing and so savory. The waffles and syrup was just absolutely delicious as well.
